My name is Amber Jackson and I am very happy be teaching at South Gibson County High School for another year.  I am a veteran teacher from the Jackson-Madison County School System.  I taught Physical Science and Biology at Jackson-Central Merry for ten years. I taught Biology I (Honors), Biology II (Honors), and Anatomy & Physiology at Liberty Technology Magnet High for six years.

I am  teaching Biology I (General Core and Honors),  Biology II (Honors), and Anatomy and Physiology (H) at SGCHS.  Biology is the study of living things and their surroundings.  The Biology course is a requirement for graduation, and the state of Tennessee does have an End of Course Exam for the class.  Biology students do have a laboratory fee of $10.00 for the semester.  Physical Science is a pre-requisite for Chemistry I.  Physical Science also have a laboratory fee of $10.00 for the semester.  The Biology II and Anatomy & Physiology courses both have a laboratory fee of $15.00, necessary to cover expendable inventory.   SGCHS  has fabulous facilities for laboratory experiments and research.
